National Scrapbook Day Challenge #7

Got a little time this morning to quickly scrapbook a page from my honeymoon for My Pink Stamper's National Scrapbook Day Challenge. Its picture of a light house we visited on Martha's Vineyard. I really need to find time to finish my honeymoon album so I can start Wyatt's Album!!

Now I'm off to spend the day with my family to celebrate my FIRST Mother's Day! :)

Happy Mother's Day to all the great Mom's out there!!

National Scrapbook Day with My Pink Stamper

Today My Pink Stamper is having National Scrapbook Day Challenges.

As you can imagine, with a newborn, I haven't seen much of my scrapbook space but i had to make a card for my mom tomorrow so I'm taking advantage of nap time. Instead of cleaning, doing laundry, etc I'm taking the weekend off for Mother's Day. I made a quick card which I love. It was super easy and quick! Robyn said to challenge your self and finish in less then an hour... Try 20 mins!

Also got my paper racks!! :) Super excited. Still have some paper organizing to do but i LOVE it. Will make my life much easier when finding paper for projects.

Well, like clock work, he is up and ready to eat! If he goes back to sleep after this, maybe I can get back to my scrapbook desk! :)

National Scrapbook day Challenge #1

My Pink Stamper Challenge #1 was something for Mom... I'm always telling my mom about great recipes I've found and made, which i then tell her i will give to her BUT i always forget to!

So i decided to make a little recipe box with the recipes in side. I only have the 2 recipes done so far as it takes quite some time typing them up so hopefully I find time this week to finish before Mother's Day!

I got the box idea from Tammy at Creative Critters. I saw it a while back and made a box which didn't come out so great but I knew this box would be perfect for this so i tried again and it came out great!! I added a few things from the "From My Kitchen" Cartridge to give the recipe cards some design and add recipe to the box front. The flowers are from a flower in the "Sweet Hearts" Cartridge. Got the trick from someone but can't remember where. I'll try to find it and share it. They look great and are super easy!!

I may even try to make a recipe clip so she can easily display it when she's cooking. Wish i started this a while ago.

National Scrapbook Day

Yesterday was National Scrapbook Day and since I was stuck moving/cleaning out our attic and spare rooms i couldn't participate in anything. This morning i luckily found some time to get creative before we have another busy day.

My Pink Stamper posted some challenges. This morning i woke up early and found some time to get a couple of the challenges done! :)

This one could go for 2 of the challenges. The scraps challenge (#2) or the Critter Challenge (#12)... I'm going to submit it for Challenge #12 though. I think this card came out adorable. My husband's brother and his wife just had a baby girl and this card will be perfect for them.
