Projects

Here are a couple cards I've done as well as a vinyl project I did above my Son's play area.

Here is a card for my Nephew's First Birthday:

Here is a card I made for my Papa in Florida. He made my son a really cute bear out of wood. :)

His name Wyatt is all vinyl but the truck I made out of paper and taped it up... My son had to be in the picture. He is a little ham and LOVE when the camera comes out! :)

Enjoy. Hopefully I'll have more time soon to work on my son's album. I said I wanted to try and stay ahead but I am sooooo far behind!! haha.

National Scrapbook Day with My Pink Stamper

Today My Pink Stamper is having National Scrapbook Day Challenges.

As you can imagine, with a newborn, I haven't seen much of my scrapbook space but i had to make a card for my mom tomorrow so I'm taking advantage of nap time. Instead of cleaning, doing laundry, etc I'm taking the weekend off for Mother's Day. I made a quick card which I love. It was super easy and quick! Robyn said to challenge your self and finish in less then an hour... Try 20 mins!

Also got my paper racks!! :) Super excited. Still have some paper organizing to do but i LOVE it. Will make my life much easier when finding paper for projects.

Well, like clock work, he is up and ready to eat! If he goes back to sleep after this, maybe I can get back to my scrapbook desk! :)

Dad's Birthday Card

So it was my Dad's Birthday on Sunday and since I've been all over the place or had no energy I didn't get to make a card. I did how ever see him on his birthday but feel bad because I didn't have his gift. My dad is very hard to shop for as he buys what he wants... He'll tell you something he wants, you go to buy it and come to find out, he already bought it! Plus, this year, every time I asked for ideas, he told me he wanted his grandson born on his birthday. He even called me every day for a week to check if it was time and if i had gone for a run or exercised to make him come out! :) It was cute but sadly Baby Wyatt did not make his appearance...

I made this card with my new cartridges. I had $100 to Amazon that I was saving to get stuff for the baby but since we got everything we needed from the shower and any little stuff i already purchased and was easier in store then amazon... sooo cricut shopping it was! I was going to get a gypsy but i may not need it with the Cricut Craft Room coming out in April, so i put that on hold! :) I ended up ordering Nate's ABC, Mini Monsters, Robotz, and Simply Charmed. I think my favorite is going to be Simply Charmed! Adorable cuts in there!! The other ones are going to come in handy when Baby Wyatt is here and I start his scrapbooks.

New Baby Card

Wow! Haven't posted in a while... Life has just been crazy and I haven't gotten much crafting done... I've only done a few pages of my honeymoon scrapbook and I was hoping to have that done and my pregancy journal pretty much done prior to baby's arrival but the short and busy 2 months left, i have no idea if I'll finish!!! :)

But I will post a picture of the Baby Card I made for my Brother in Law and Sister in Law who just adopted an adorable little boy! So happy for them! My nephew is very excited about his new brother!

Going to try to make more time to craft each day and hopefully post some layouts in the near future. Glad the craziness of the holidays is almost over...

Hope everyone had a great holiday and has a very Happy New Years tomorrow!!

Update!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Life have been crazy. Not only with the last minute trips and adventures before Summer ended, life has taken many turns.

One turn I'm happy to announce is my Husband and I found out that we are having our first baby! :o)

We found out it's a baby boy and he's due March 7th, 2011... :) We are both thrilled, excited, and nervous at the same time! So alot of my crafty time is spent trying to finish my Honeymoon Scrapbook (Finished Wedding Album FINALLY)... And then I'm doing a pregnancy journal which i want finished... Going to try to keep up with scrapbooks and not get behind! Even though i probably will be at some point with the crazy life of being a new mom! :)

I made a test of what i might want for my Christmas Cards but I'm not sure I like it... It's growing on me though and I've actually been changing stuff in my head... We'll see what i actually decide to go with. Hoping to have time to finish them by the end of November to get them mailed out early... I'm always late!! hehe

Double Trouble!

So I've been back from vacation for a while but life has been so hectic and crazy for me that i haven't had much time to be crafty! :( Alot of changes happening in my life, most for the good though!

My friend is having twins too, which is super exciting for them! A boy and a girl. Her shower is Saturday and I'm super excited. I haven't seen her in a long time so it'll be great to see her and some old friends as well. I love shopping for babies! I had so much fun picking out their gifts. I got a pink and blue beach buckets and filled them up with pink and blue items. I got any thing from the swaddles she registered for to toys she didn't! :) I got a bunch of misc things off her registry that i know most people don't go around and pick out. Most people just grab an item in their price range.

I think i had a different vision for the card but i still think it came out adorable. Love the Create a Critter Cartridge. :)

Last night before vacation

So I'm off on vacation tomorrow morning! :) Can't wait!

But in the mean time, thought I would share a card I am mailing to my Grandma. I made this card a while back and it's perfect for right now. My Grandma got surgery on her hip and went through rehab and was feeling much better and able to be on her own again BUT she fell last week and broke a bone in her shoulder and hurt the other side of her hip. So she is back in rehab very depressed and in lots of pain. Since I will be gone for 10-11 days I wanted to mail her a card to let her know I'll be thinking of her and I'll visit when i get home. :)

Supplies I don't remember as this was made a while back.

See you all after my vacation!! :)

Emma's Throwback Thursday Entry

On Emma's blog she does a Throwback Thursday Challenge every week and this week is Stretch Your Imagination... Last week i missed it because i was too busy but this week i found some time which is great because it's my Mother in Law's Birthday today so i was able to incorporate the challenge for her card! I feel horrible because her Birthday is today and they are at their house in Maine all summer so it'll be mailed tomorrow morning... and of course it'll be late!! :( She'll understand though... I hope. We called her this morning so it's not like we forgot her special day. Just been too busy to craft!

(Found my camera but it's dead... Sorry for the horrible picture quality, used my cell phone again)

Hope you like it!!

Father's Day Card #2

So yesterday I made a card for my Dad for My Pink Stamper's challenge so today I made one for my Father in Law before I forgot and was getting it together last minute (Normal for me! haha).

I wanted to do something with a boat since they are getting ready to head to their house on a lake in Maine for the Summer... I was looking through the Just Because Cards cartridge and came across the cute little sail boat and saying, "You float my boat." It's perfect because they have a sail boat and sail all the time. I instantly remembered a card i saw someone make and googled it to find it. And i did!!... It was from Provocraft.com and their projects... See it here.

I love how they tied string around the O's... Super cute. A little tricky to get the string to do what i wanted but i got it! :)

Mother's Day Gift

My lovely Husband late last night decides to ask me to make a gift certificate for his mom for a restaurant in Maine we love. His parents own a cottage up there on a lake and there is this cute little restaurant called the "Corner Store"... Our favorite place to eat while we are at the cottage. So this morning, i had to get up early to multi task... As I'm typing this my nail polish on my toes are drying... I am going out all afternoon with my Mom, Cousin, and Aunts for a Mother's Day lunch and bowling... Then i have to rush home and get ready to leave for a wedding all night... Then tomorrow is Mother's Day which is filled with Church, Seeing both our Mom's, and Our Nephew's Bday party... What a busy weekend but it's filled with Family so i can't complain.

Here is the Card and Gift Certificate I made for my Mother In Law... Hope you like it!

For the Gift Certificate I got to use my new Cri-Kit Pens in the Cricut the second time (First time was just playing when i first got them). They worked wonderful. Very impressed!

Birthday Card

Yesterday I sat down in my craft room and my friend called to go out and run errands with her so needless to say, I didn't get to be too crafty yesterday. But today my to do list is pretty big to prepare for this busy weekend... Filled with Mother's Day activities, Weddings, and Birthday Parties.

Below is the card I made for my Nephew Joey. The catepillar card I made for his new baby sister Julia was a huge hit with Joey so i knew Create a Critter was a must for him. :0)

National Scrapbook day Challenge #9

This for Challenge #9 on My Pink Stamper A Shaped Card

I made this to go with my recipe box i made for Challenge #1 on My Pink Stamper. I cut the triangle card using the "Wild Card" Cartridge. I then added the same flowers from the box using "Sweet Hearts" Cartridge.

I inked the edges, cut out "Mom" using Applebutter font and Sure Cuts Alot. Added some dots and I was done! It was so easy and quick to make. Took me longer to glue the small flower together, then it did to make the whole card! :) Small parts are hard to work with!

National Scrapbook Day

Yesterday was National Scrapbook Day and since I was stuck moving/cleaning out our attic and spare rooms i couldn't participate in anything. This morning i luckily found some time to get creative before we have another busy day.

My Pink Stamper posted some challenges. This morning i woke up early and found some time to get a couple of the challenges done! :)

This one could go for 2 of the challenges. The scraps challenge (#2) or the Critter Challenge (#12)... I'm going to submit it for Challenge #12 though. I think this card came out adorable. My husband's brother and his wife just had a baby girl and this card will be perfect for them.
